Food Storage Guide

Most people don't know how to save food when emergency arise.
If you have you should have noticed the huge increase in natural disasters that have occurred recently. In the last few years hurricanes, blizzards, and floods have drastically swelled in numbers. In 2011 alone, natural disasters caused more than $52 billion in destruction.
I know you also see the threat of a world wide economic collapse that is unraveling daily while the government stands by doing nothing to prevent it. A destruction of the US dollar would have disastrous effects on society, including your ability to go to your grocery store and buy food.
If you have been affected by a natural disaster you have probably personally seen the barren shelves at the grocery stores if even a minor emergency comes to your area. Imagine what will happen when the value of the dollar collapses and food riots occur with people scrambling to get the scraps left on the shelves of the grocery store.
However a disruption in the food supply doesn’t even have to be caused by some end of the world type event.
The fact is that even a minor crisis can impact the food supply overnight.
  • Any stop in the supply of oil (Are you confident that the Middle East will continue selling us oil?)
  • Political strife
  • War
  • Labor strikes
  • Dwindling water sources for growing food
  • Global increase in the price of food staples
  • Nuclear power plant disasters
  • GMO disasters
  • Droughts and floods
